At Ranacherhof, you find yourself in the midst of the Hohe Tauern National Park, in the Mölltal Alps. The Mölltal Glacier, the Fragant, and the Astental, as well as the Groppenstein and Raggaschlucht are easily accessible from here and are excellently suited for hikes and mountain tours of all kinds.

A double room and a studio for two people each are perfect for a vacation for two! Treat yourself to a break, far away from the daily stress of professional life. In the morning, our feel-good breakfast awaits you with farmer's bread, fresh curd with herbs from our garden, eggs from our happy hens, bacon gently dried by the Mölltal wind, and the sun we have filled for you in various kinds of jams in jars.

Relax in our garden in the Hollywood swing or on the sun loungers. Perhaps you will read a book again? You will surely find the peace for that with us.

Freedom and Real Vacation at Ranacherhof

For our little guests, there is also plenty to offer! Our apartment accommodates a family with three children. They can let off steam undisturbed at the playground. Table tennis, swings, slides, sandboxes, playhouses, trampolines, and ride-on toys are available.

Ranacherhof is home to cows, calves, Vero - the bull, sheep, pigs, chickens, pony Lilly, dog Bella, kittens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and dwarf goats. The young cattle and sheep are on the Raggaalm in summer and are happy when farmer Franz treats them with grain and our guests visit them. The mountain excursion ends at our hut with a bacon snack and a shot of homemade schnapps.

The Hohe Tauern National Park in Carinthia enchants you with one of the most beautiful landscapes and magical moments. With the Carinthian Card, you can visit over 100 excursion destinations throughout Carinthia for free: panoramic roads, mountain railways, boat trips on our clear lakes, gorges, museums, baths, and much more. Experience nature in the national park, hike over alpine meadows, enjoy homemade delicacies in the alpine huts, and marvel at the power of water in the gorges.

In the morning, the scent of freshly baked rolls wafts through the house, the farmer's bread is full of fiber, our bacon is gently dried by the Mölltal wind, milk, butter, cheese come from happy farm animals, muesli is made from our own grain ground by farmer Franz in our farm mill. Those who prefer something sweet will delight in our homemade jams and juices.
