This short, barrier-free hike on Lake Zurich leads from Rapperswil in the canton of St. Gallen across the famous wooden bridge to Hurden and further to Pfäffikon in the canton of Schwyz.

This route starts in Pfäffikon SZ and leads along the Seedamm shore to Rapperswil SG. The route impresses with wonderful views over an endless plain with blooming fields and meadows as well as the sparkling Lake Zurich. Pure holiday feeling!

The route is mostly accessible year-round, especially recommended in spring from March onwards. Even then, the sun shines all day on the hiking path. Since the trees are still bare, you can almost always see the blue Walensee. The popular hiking trail is lightly used during this season, which is another plus for spring.
