Accessible holidays in Rorschach

This barrier-free route leads from Goldach to Rorschach and connects quiet orchards with the lively lakeside promenade on Lake Constance. The route mostly runs on well-developed paths and offers varied views of nature and the lake.

The goal of today's "test run" is to test my left knee, which I twisted during my last hike to Fähnerenspitz in December 2021 during a "stupid" slip, stretching/overextending the ligaments of the knee. Since my knee has now successfully endured today's 13 km hike with 600 meters of ascent and descent, I am now confident for a great hiking season 2021.

My second e-bike route starts on March 19, 2020, right outside my front door in Rorschach. This time it will be a somewhat more extensive, longer route. I have recently completed similar sections on foot while hiking; with the e-bike, of course, you get much further faster, and thus the routes become correspondingly longer. I am already looking forward to the "snowless" coming time in the mountains where I can occasionally combine hiking with e-mountain biking.

Winding its way through orchards and along the lakefront promenade, this hike combines rural idyll with urban culture. On the way from Goldach to the port town of Rorschach, magnificent views open up over fields, meadows, and Lake Constance.

The castle circular route in Rorschacherberg leads high past the four castles and rewards with a fantastic view of Lake Constance.
