Ascent with the Herzogstandbahn to the viewing platform is barrier-free possible. At the mountain station, there is a magnificent view of Walchensee and the Karwendel. A wide, well-rollable hiking trail (some drainage cross grooves) leads 500 meters downhill to the Berggasthof Herzogstand. For people in wheelchairs, a towing device or a companion is recommended.
