Leaving the Chamolé lake behind and the crest trail on the left, you arrive in a short time at the Col Replan, at 2,458 meters above sea level. Here, an orientation table lists the names of all the iconic mountains that can be seen from this viewpoint, from Mont Blanc to Monte Rosa and, in the distance, the Matterhorn.
