Viewpoints in Pfronten

A few meters above the mountain station of the Breitenbergbahn lies the popular viewing platform. The platform extends several meters beyond the edge of the rock and offers a great view of the Pfronten Valley.

From the summit cross of Edelsberg, your gaze sweeps over the Pfronten Valley, the Allgäu foothills of the Alps, and the Allgäu and Ammergau Alps.

In the middle of the village, above the striking St. Nikolaus parish church, lies Hörnle. On Hörnle, you will find several benches to enjoy the splendid view of the Pfronten Valley and the mountain panorama.

From the observation tower in Berger Moos, you have a panoramic view of the surrounding moor landscape and the Pfronten Valley. Information boards provide interesting facts about the formation of the moor.

At the summit of Mount Breitenberg, right at the summit cross, there is a small viewing platform. Here, visitors can enjoy a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view: On one side, the view stretches over the sea of peaks of the Allgäu and Tyrolean Alps. On the other side, the view extends to the horizon. A few meters away lies the popular Ostlerhütte.

From Kreuzle on Edelsberg, above the Pfronten district of Röfleuten, you have a wonderful view of the Pfronten Valley, Falkenstein, and all the way to the Ammergau Alps in the distance.
