The exposed vantage point is located at an altitude of 214 metres on the edge of the slope to the Rhine, north of the Steeg valley incision. From there, looking south, there is a magnificent view of the town, the ruins of the Werner Chapel, Stahleck Castle and the meandering course of the Rhine as far as the Lorcher Werth, the Rheinisel before Lorch.
