The via ferrata on Monte Albano near Mori, close to Arco, is one of the first sport via ferratas in the Alps and can still be ranked among the demanding routes. The route remains extremely popular and is correspondingly well polished. The smooth rock increases the difficulty level. The route has some very exposed traverses (e.g., the so-called Angel's Band) and a long, extremely steep corner. Due to the south-facing orientation, the via ferrata is accessible almost all year round. The Monte Albano equipped route is one of the highlights of the via ferratas on Lake Garda.
