    Die Tour ist wirklich sehr schön und abwechslungsreich und auch mit Hundeanhänger gut zu bewältigen. Ein Zwischenstopp am Druidenstein ist empfehlenswert. Der Ort Neunburg vorm Wald gleicht allerdings einer Geisterstadt. Eine Eisdiele haben wir verzweifelt aber ohne Erfolg gesucht. Die meisten Läden und Gaststätten sind geschlossen bzw. stehen leer. Die Gebäude sind seit Jahrzehnten sanierungsbedürftig. Einzig das Hotel/Wirtshaus Sporrer macht eine rühmliche Ausnahme. Sehr gepflegt. Freundliches Personal und ein schöner Biergarten.

    Wunderschöne, aber auch recht fordernde Runde. Die Knüppelsteige und die kleinen Klettereien über die Felsen sollte man nicht unterschätzen. Alles in allem aber eine sehr schöne Tour die wir heute bei 31 Grad gemacht haben 🥵

    Eine sehr schöne Rundwanderung, die zunächst mit einem saftigen Anstieg beginnt. Sobald man aber das "Felsenlabyrinth" erreicht hat, sind die letzten Höhenmeter des ersten Aufstieges entspannter zu laufen, da man aufgrund der Landschaft ohnehin regelmäßig stoppt. Die Felsenformationen hier sind äußerst eindrucksvoll. Anschließend erfolgt zunächst eine weitere Wegstrecke, bis man das Glaskreuz am Reiseck mit Weitblick gen Südosten erreicht. Zuvor hatte ich die Wegführung zur Dachsriegel-Berghütte nicht verstanden, da es hier nichts zu sehen gab. Auch die weiteren Aussichtspunkte Tannenriegel, Kreuzfelsen und Pfennigfelsen sind eigentlich sehr schön, durch die Vegetation sieht man aber teils nur bedingt in das Tal... Der kurze Schlenker zur Tschechischen Grenze mit dem Dreiwappen-Felsen ist allein historisch interessant. Nach dem Pfennigfelsen ist die weitere Wegstrecke leider überwiegend "langweilig". Am Berghof Gibacht besteht noch die Möglichkeit einer preisgünstigen Rastpause und dann geht es gen Burgstall als quasi Abschluss. Die Aussicht hier ist super schön und glücklicherweise durch die Bäume nicht versperrt. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Tour, auch wenn diese mit 5 Stunden bei etwas über 14 km und 504 hm recht langwierig ist.

    Recht kurz nach dem Start erreicht man bereits den Uferpfad entlang des Stausees, der etwas hoch und etwas runter über Stock und Stein führt. Dieser Wegabschnitt ist schön und abwechslungsreich. Ab ca. Kilometer 4,5 verlässt man dann das Ufer und läuft zunächst in Richtung der Ortschaft Stockarn und von dort weiter ein ganzes Stück entlang der Staatsstraße. Dieser Abschnitt ist vermutlich unvermeidlich, aber qualitativ natürlich enorm schlecht. Auch die weitere Wegstrecke nach Querung der Staatsstraße ist zunächst sehr uninteressant. Erst ab der Sattelhütte beginnt ein saftiger Anstieg hoch zur Steinernen Wand, die unbedingt sehenswert ist. Kurz darauf folgt mit der Burg ein weiteres Highlight als Abschluss der Tour. Hier kann, keine Höhenangst vorausgesetzt, auch der Turm kostenlos (freiwillige Spende) bestiegen werden. Insgesamt eine schöne Tour, die ich aber vermutlich nicht nochmal laufen würde. Vielmehr würde ich vom Wanderparkplatz aus direkt zur Steinernen Wand hochlaufen und von dort über die Burg dann wieder zurück. Die Tourenangaben sind im Übrigen stimmig. Allerdings hatte ich rd. 100 hm mehr und benötigte auch eher 4 Stunden statt 3,5.
