    2.5 hours hiking time (without break). Awesome 360 views from Buochserhorn and Musenalp. Short section of Alpine route (blue and white trail) on the Bleikigrat ridge between Buochserhorn and Musenalp, including a 4 meter ladder. Overall not very technically challenging for a sure footed hiker, as long as conditions are dry. The hut at Musenalp has excellent self made cheese.

    Overall a wonderful hike. 5 hours 45 minutes total walking time. Refreshment stops available at Haldigrat and Brisen Hut. Enjoyed that it was a circular route up to a summit of a pronounced summit and that there were very few other hikers. Awesome views from the Brisen ridge line. Steep up to Haldigrat and Brisen. Not technical (no ropes or ladders), but requires concentration near the top of Brisen. I brought my dog along and it was no problem, but leash is mandatory. There was still snow covering parts of the trail on the way down from Brisen.

    Schöne Wanderung mit toller Aussicht! Der Weg auf das Buochserhorn ist ziemlich steil da es sehr heiss war, liessen wir die Musenalp aus. Wir kommen wieder.

    Happiger Aufstieg, der Weg führt oft durch wiesen ohne festen Weg, bei feuchtem Wetter könnte es etwas dreckig und rutschig werden... Die Aussicht ist der Hammer! Der Abstieg ist dann relativ schnell gemacht. Kanns empfehlen!

    Sowohl der Bleikigrat als auch der obere Teil des Abstiegs vom Buochserhorn sind alpine Strecken (blau-weiss markiert). Soll man dies noch als Familienwanderung , z.B. für 8- oder 10-jährige bezeichnen ? Ich perönlich würde es nicht wagen. Schwindelfreiheit und Trittsicherheit für diese Abschnitte sind vorausgesetzt.
