    Eine etwas andere Etappe… zunächst geht es durch mehrere Wohnviertel; hier trifft man auf zahlreiche mit Geschmack kreierte und Herzblut gepflegte Grundstücke • der sanfte Aufstieg zum Arenenberg belohnt den Wanderer mit einer herrlichen Panoramasicht auf den Untersee • der letzte Teil gefällt mit Natur und Aussicht gleichermaßen – Fazit: eine lohnenswerte Strecke

    Leicht ansteigend entfernen wir uns von Stadt und See und geniessen schon bald die Aussicht • hinter Bäumen erblickt man die Turmspitzen des Schlosses „Castell“ • den kleinen Umweg über die Burgruine sollte man unbedingt in Kauf nehmen; es lohnt sich • insgesamt ist die Etappe abwechslungsreich; das Panorama vor Ermatingen auf die Insel Reichenau ist beeindruckend

    Sehr schöner Weg. Startete in Schaffhausen und war knapp 12h später in Kreuzlingen. Man beachte die Betriebszeiten der Rhein-Fähre Büsingen. Ich bin zu Fuss weiter bis Diessenhofen und habe da die Brücke verwenden. Stein am Rhein eignet sich als Kaffee-Halt, hat tolle kleine Kaffees in der Altstadt nur weniger Meter von der Route entfernt.

    1.Tag von Radolfzell nach Überlingen 2.Tag von Überlingen nach Arbon 3. Tag von Arbon nach Koblenz (Besuch in der Therme) 4. Tag von Konstanz über Stein am Rhein nach Radolfzell / Der Radweg ist immer eindeutig ausgeschildert. Sollte es mal wegen einer kleinen Baustelle eine Sperrung geben, so ist eine Umleitung für Radfahrer eingerichtet. Die Strecke ist zu 95 Prozent asphaltiert. Ich bin die Tour Ende März bei wechselhaftem Wetter gefahren. Es gab viele Möglichkeiten, um eine Unterkunft spontan zu buchen. Dies wird in der Hauptsaison vermutlich nicht möglich sein, weshalb man im Sommer genau planen sollte, wo man übernachtet. Die Schweiz gehört nicht zur EU, weshalb bei den meisten Handytarifen die Flatrate für Telefonate und Internet nicht gilt. Also vorsicht bei der Handynutzung, hier können hohe Kosten entstehen!

    Landschaftlich wunderschön. Bin in Steckborn eingestiegen und habe nach Gottlieben eine Abkürzung gemacht und Konstanz ausgelassen. Kurz vor Salenstein gibt es eine kurze Streckenänderung. Es wurde eine sehr steile Treppe eingebaut, die mit dem e-Mountainbike zu Fuss fast nicht bewältigbar ist. Nach Tägerwilen wunderbare Singletrails im Wald.

    Nachdem ich vor Corona letztmalig auf dem Bodensee Rundweg den Bodensee umrundet hatte, bin ich dieses Frühjahr erneut in 8 Tagesetappen um den Bodensee gewandert. Erstaunlich, was sich an der einen oder anderen Stelle seit 2019 verändert hat. Als "Insider" habe ich den Bodensee Rundweg zwischenzeitlich für mich etwas modifiziert und die eine oder andere kleine Sonderschleife eingebaut (Haldenhof oberhalb von Sipplingen, Hochwacht bei Mammern, Schloß Arenenberg bei Salenstein).
