Ich kann die ganze Region Derborance besonders im Spätherbst empfehlen! Zur Zeit sind der See und seine Umgebung buchstäblich in Gold getaucht. Schuld an diesem schönen Spektakel sind die Lärchen, die vermutlich nur noch wenige Tage ihr schillerndstes Kleid tragen! Wer etwas abseits der gängigen Wege wandern möchte, nimmt vom Gasthaus Refuge du Lac aus die Strecke Richtung Gite du Dorbon in Angriff (ca. 1.45 Std.) - weitgehend durch wilde Waldabschnitte, wo man den Urwald buchstäblich spürt.
