    Super Route! Landschaftlich sehr schön und für Teneriffa auch verhältnismäßig gut zu fahren. Die Gegenanstiege und die kurvige Straße sind nicht zu unterschätzen - es hilft, wenn man einigermaßen sicher in Abfahrten ist. Aber dann kann man echt viel Spaß haben.

    Diese Runde war wesentlich schöner, als wir erwartet hatten. Die Tour ist abwechslungsreich und geht durch das Naturschutzgebiet bis in den kleinen Küstenort El Socorro und dann entlang der Küste wieder zurück. Entlang der Wege gibt es immer wieder Infotafeln mit Wissenswertes über die Landschaft und Natur. Man kommt an ein paar Aussichtspunkten vorbei. Trotz der wenigen Höhenmeter und den gut markierten Wegen ist festes Schuhwerk empfehlenswert, da es viel über Kies und manchmal Felsen geht.

    Tolle Wanderung, eines der Highlights meiner Wanderungen auf Teneriffa, jedoch nichts für Ungeübte, Gutes Schuhwerk + Taschenlampe sind ein Muss. Zum Ausgangpunkt muss man mit dem PKW/Taxi fahren und sich dann auch irgendwie den Rücktransport organisieren - einfach die lokalen Taxifahrer fragen. Die Strecke wird bei Einheimischen auch "1.000 ventanas" genannt, weil man teilweise durch (stockfinstere) Tunnels geht, und sich dann dort an den Fenstern und dem Ausblick erfreut. Nur zu empfehlen für Leute, die trittfest sind, da teilweise auf den Kanalplatten balanciert warden muss bzw. der Trippelweg sehr schmal ist. Dafür wird man mit einem einmaligen Erlebnis belohnt - einer Mischung aus Abenteuer für Luis Trencker und Indianer Jones.
