    Beautiful walk. Once on the top, we continued to San Andres, and from San Andres to Los Jarales, back to the mirador following a path close to the steep side, and back down.

    Grundsätzlich eine recht schöne Tour ohne besondere Highlights. Die Wegführung ist allerdings massiv verwirrend, da in der Umgebung selten überhaupt Wege zu erkennen sind und man daher willkürlich durch die Lava-Landschaft mit der Folge läuft, ständig vom GPX-Track abzuweichen. Wer ohnehin den schönen Hafen von La Restinga und den naheliegenden Playa de Tacorón besichtigen möchte, kann die Tour in seiner Tagesplanung ergänzen, gesondert anfahren würde ich dafür nicht.

    Schöne und kurzweilige Rundwanderung durch den Lorbeerwald von El Hierro und zum Schluss mit zwei sehr sehenswerten Aussichtspunkten, wenn die Wetterbedingungen stimmen. Es gibt offiziell drei Varianten unterschiedlicher Länge, sodass auch für Ältere die Möglichkeit besteht, die Natur hier zu erleben. Bei der hier veröffentlichten Tour handelt es sich um eine geringfügige Abwandlung der blauen Tour, die längste der drei Varianten (offizielle Zeitangabe 3 Stunden). Die angegebene Wegezeit halte ich allerdings für unrealistisch. Mit Abstieg in den Vulkankrater dürfte sich diese auf 2-3 Stunden bewegen, ohne den Abstieg knapp über 2 Stunden.

    Kurzweilige und sehr sehenswerte Tour im äußersten Nordwesten von El Hierro. Die Wegführung durch das Lavagebiet bietet regelmäßig Ausblicke auf die Steinformationen, die häufig mit "Löchern" durchsetzt sind. Hier wird einem die Kraft des Wasser wieder aufgezeigt.

    Traumhafte Blicke über das gesamte Golfo-Tal, nachdem man den steilen Aufstieg (ca. 600 hm auf ca. 3 km) geschafft hat. Anschließend führt der Rundweg zu einem weiteren Highlight der Insel: El Sabinar und über die Ermita de los Reyes zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Trotz der großen Höhenunterschiede lässt sich die Tour insgesamt recht angenehm laufen. Die Ausblicke entschädigen die "körperlichen Strapazen".
