Le Txindoki est le sommet le plus occidental de la chaîne de montagnes d'Aralar. En raison de sa forme pyramidale, on le surnomme parfois le « Cervin basque ».

Wir haben die Tour bei unserem letzten Aufenthalt im Baskenland gemacht. Von einem Parkplatz geht es durch den Wald und durch einen Felstunnel zum Stausee. Am Weg sind uns weidende Pferde begegnet. Die Tour ist problemlos auch mit Kindern zu machen. Wir haben trotz einiger Fotostops kürzer als angegeben gebraucht.
