Discover the region
As a regional nature park, Parc Ela aims to preserve and enhance nature and cultural landscapes and to promote the sustainable economic development of the region. Special wild bees that are rare elsewhere - such as the stalked leafcutter bee -, mountain birds, species-rich pasture landscapes, dry stone walls or enhanced ponds and habitats for amphibians characterize the hiking experience. The nature park also supports opportunities to eat locally, for example in our partner restaurants or the buteia regiunala in Savognin. The integrated exhibition on Parc Ela in the buteia invites visitors to get to know the diversity, projects and stories of the region.

Behavioral recommendations
Stay on marked paths. In this way you protect the vegetation and allow wild animals their peace and quiet.
Behave calmly towards farm animals and keep your distance.
Respect the protection regulations in the designated protected areas, especially in the wildlife rest areas and in the Piz Ela hunting ban area.
Alpine flowers are much more beautiful in photos than wilted in your rucksack. Protected species are taboo.
Do not leave your garbage in the wild. Do not feed wild animals and keep your distance from them. They waste a lot of energy running away, which they need, especially in winter.
Free camping is prohibited on municipal land and in protected areas. Permission must be asked for on private land.
Drones disturb birds and other animals. Please observe the legal regulations and keep flights to a minimum.
