Amazing route, 5 stars, BUT! When we went (late october 2023) it had already been freezing, this resulted in an absolutely breathtaking winter wonderland, but it also meant that many of the regular routes had frozen over making this hike a deathtrap in some areas. Really, really dangerous. We were however overprepared and had perfect weather (other than the cold). So if you're going after it froze, beware slipping hazards and possibly sliding of the mountain and falling to your death

In our case, it was a great two-day hike. There is a hut along the way, but it can be full.
