    Schöne Strecke. Bei Eijsden ist eine Fahrt mit der Fähre vorgesehen, die nur bis zu den Herbstferien fährt und auch nicht abends.

    Over de eerste dag was er wat scepsis, ondanks er ook wat mooie stukken in zaten. Vooral de langere stukken bovenop het plateau vonden we net iets minder. Maar, de rest van de trail deed onze wandelharten een sprongetje maken. Er is echt gezocht naar de mooiste paden en verharde weg wordt waar mogelijk vermeden. Een aaneenschakeling van prachtige vergezichten, meanderende riviertjes, oude bossen, kastelen, passages door uitgestrekte weides, goed wat hoogtemeters,… In combo met mooie dorpjes, sfeervolle Horeca gelegenheden en Limburgse gastvrijheid is deze tocht een absolute aanrader. Wandel je deze trail buiten het seizoen dat het voetveer vaart moet je acht kilometers rond lopen, over dit stuk moeten we eerlijk zijn… daar werden we niet wild van. Er zijn echter geen alternatieven, dus dat kunnen we de trailmakers zeker niet verwijten. Kortom, een noodzakelijk kwaad.     ik heb de tocht gelopen in 4 dagen met tussendoor een rustdag. Ik kom uit zuid limburg en dacht dat ik de paadjes en holle wegen wel kon, maar niets is minder waar. Wat een geweldige tocht. En zo kort bij huis. Het pad naar de top van de Schneeberg.....fantastisch. En zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan.

    Prachtige E-bike fietstocht 91km, hoogteverschil 965m en 5 uur op de fiets. Drielandenpunt, veerpondje bij Eijsden, prachtig natuurlandschap tussen Eijsden en Kanne ( Uit de film, De kanonnen van Navarone ! ) Limburgse vlaai in Kanne en een prachtige rit door Maastricht. Accu van 400W bij 90% eco gebruik net genoeg. Let op: tussen 1.4 en 3.1 km volg de normale weg naar de top bij het drielandenpunt en na Schin op geul volg de weg van 76.8 tot 78.5 km, je hebt dan 100% asphaltwegen.
