Great variety of landscapes around you, never bored. Highly recommended. A piece of the route goes through a very narrow and a very shallow passage. There are two very bridges (I passed underneath in my slalom kayak, but it's not possible in a sea kayak). Well organised to drag over though

De route begint met een geweldig wandelpad dwars door/langs de Vinkeveenseplassen. De bodem deint als we er over wandelen. We lopen deze wandeling op een zomeravond met een helderblauwe lucht. Wij vonden deze route iets te lang voor een maandagavond na een werkdag.

Als je voor de forten gaat moet je niet 's avonds of in de zomer gaan, dan zijn de forten dicht en vanwege de bomen zie je ze bijna niet. Het rondje bij fort Nigtevecht is heel leuk en ook langs het Gein (vooral oostkant) is het mooi wandelen.
