    Der Weg ist auch im Winter bei Schnee gut zu begehen. Die Karte stimmt aber teilweise nicht ganz mit der tatsächlichen Wegführung überein, aber es ist auch nicht kompliziert den Weg zu finden. Mit unseren Hunden hatten wir am Waffenhammer das Problem dass der Weg direkt an einem Grundstück mit 2 sehr großen anderen Hunden vorbeiführt, da sind wir etwas auf Distanz geblieben aber dann war alles gut.

    Die Wende bei Waffenhammer die aus der Karte ersichtlich ist existiert so nicht. So wie es aussieht seit Jahren nicht mehr. Man muss vor Waffenhammer bereits rechts abbiegen. Ist auch beschildert und auf der Karte als "Strichelweg" erkennbar. Es lohnt sich aber den Abstecher zur Brücke nach Waffenhammer zu machen.

    Die Info mit dem Parkplatz bei der Waldschänke ist leider einfach falsch und hat uns viel Zeit gekostet. Die Parkplätze bei der Waldschänke sind privat, kostenlos parken kann man aber 160m weiter hinten in der Schlucht bei der nächsten Weggabelung. Wussten wir leider nicht und wurden von der sehr "hilfreichen" Wirtin über einen Kilometer zurückgeschickt zum Ende der Teerstraße - vielen Dank auch, ich habe mich mit einer entsprechenden Google-Bewertung revanchiert. Trotzdem nette Wanderung.

    Eine wirklich schöne und aussichtsreiche Wanderung, hat mir sehr gefallen. Wir waren sogar schneller als vorgegeben - 2,5 Stunden und wir waren wieder am Parkplatz. Und das obwohl wir an einer Stelle nahe des Forstmeistersprungs aufgrund der etwas wirren Beschilderung einmal im Kreis gelaufen sind. Auch an weiteren Stellen war die Beschilderung/Markierung nicht so ganz optimal, so dass man erst mal in eine gewisse Richtung laufen muss, um zu sehen, ob man noch richtig ist. Hier sollte noch nachgebessert werden.

    Sehr schöne Tour auf bequemen Forstwegen, aber auch auf Trampelpfaden durch den Wald, die durchaus Trittfestigkeit erfordern, so z.B. vom Forstmeistersprung zur Ruine. Es gibt immer etwas zu sehen. Schöne Rast aus dem Rucksack in der Steinachklamm möglich, v.a. mit Hund/Kindern, die im Wasser plantschen können. Auch an der Burgruine Nordeck laden Tisch und Bank zur Rast ein.
