Maresme Coast

With well-known seaside resorts such as Blanes, Malgrat de Mar, Calella and Arenys de Mar, the Costa del Maresme is very popular. Northeast of Barcelona, the 50 km long coast is mostly flat with beautiful sandy beaches. The section between Sant Pol de Mar and Canet de Mar is steep and scenic. A little north of the coast there are wooded mountain ridges that provide a mild climate due to their protective location.

    Sehr schöne und abwechlungsreiche Runde. Der Aufstieg zum Gipfel Montpalau lohnt sich. Von hier aus hat man eine tolle Sicht. Gutes Schuhwerk ist auf jeden Fall von Vorteil, da die teils steilen Abstiege durch kleine Kiesel sehr rutschig sind. Auf dem Strandweg zurück zum Start gibt es viele Einkehrmöglichkeiten in den tollen Strandbars.
