Wenn man erst einmal weiß, welcher Beschilderung man folgen soll, ergibt sich eine sehr schöne Tour. Also: Gegen den Uhrzeigersinn ab Parkplatz in Larochette dem hellroten M auf weißem Grund bis Meysemburg folgen, dann L2 zurück bis Larochette. Das Städtchen Larochette liegt malerisch im Tal und mutet mit seinem zentralen Platz, der "Bleech", etwas südländisch an. Es gibt zahlreiche portugiesische Geschäfte und Restaurants. Lobenswert auch die vielen kostenlosen Parkplätze im Ort. Etwas anstrengend geht es zunächst über Treppen und Steigungen hoch zum Campingplatz Birkelt. Von dort verläuft der Weg durch Nadel- und Mischwald praktisch nur noch bergab. Etwa zur Hälfte der Strecke erreicht der Wanderer die Meysemburg, eine sehenswerte Burganlage mitten in einer parkähnlichen Umgebung. Entlang des Manzebachs geht es über schöne Wege durch Wald und Felsformationen wieder nach Larochette. Auf einem Felsen oberhalb des Ortes thront das Wahrzeichen, die Burgruine. Fazit: Eine wirklich angenehm zu gehende Tour im Mullerthal mit interessanten Aussichtspunkten und vielen Rastmöglichkeiten. Datum: 23.04.2019, Streckenlänge: 9,4 km, Gehzeit: 2;17 h, Höhenmeter: 240 m, Schwierigkeit: leicht, Bewertung: 4 Sterne.

Die Route 2 des Müllerthal Trails Starteten wir in Consdorf. Sehr gute Beschilderung die auch Zuwege anzeigte. Unsere Zwischenübernachtung im Trail Inn Hotel befand sich auf dem Weg der Route. Die wechselnde Landschaft mit Moosen und Bächen änderte sich atemberaubend zu Felsgestalten in hohen Tannenwäldern. Sehr abwechslungsreiche Tour die nur durch ihre Länge leicht anstrengend aber wunderschön war. Mehr Bilder und Infos zu unserer Tour unter: www.colognemountainmen. wordpress.com

Wunderschöne Tour fast ausschließlich durch den Wald. Sehenswert sind neben den vielfältigen Felsformationen insbesondere die Meysemburg die leider nicht besichtigt werden kann. Imposant ist der Blick auf Larochette und die Burg die einen Besuch wert ist. Positiv ist, dass die Tour den wunderschönen Campingplatz Birkelt bei Larochette streift und man von dort loslaufen kann. Wenn man auf dem Platz ist, ist diese Tour fast ein MUSS.
