One of the most beautiful walks I've ever taken. I left the car in Altrier, walked over Scheidgen to Echternach and back over Müllertal the next day. The many (short) climbs and descents make the route strenuous, but it is never difficult.

Difficult after the floods. Some sections of the path damaged by mudslides and downed trees. Nevertheless, great route! Loved it. Took 8hrs not including stops.

This route has a balanced combination of small off road, wider dirt road shared with bikes, and unique landscape of stone walls. Overall this is an easy route. You may choose to do some extra curriculums to explore the caves and cliff by taking a short detour along the way (follow the “Entry” -1-2-3-4 signs). Love it!
