    This trail follows mainly south facing slopes, so catches the sun’s warmth making it particularly attractive in Spring and Autumn. There are plenty of interesting historical and natural distractions along the way, as well as opportunities for refreshments. However, what makes it special are the elevated viewpoints and the ever-changing trail itself.

    Bonjour, J’ai eu grand plaisir à réaliser ce très beau parcours vélo de 41 km, le samedi 25 juillet 2026. Je souhaite mettre en avant l’accueil remarquable et la participation exemplaire des clubs de village et des clubs cyclistes de la région, notamment pour les boissons et les différents points de restauration tout au long du trajet. Je tiens à adresser un merci tout particulier au Cyclocroc à Bissen, pour son accueil en pleine forêt, avec un barbecue généreux, des plats froids savoureux et de délicieuses boissons naturelles et rafraîchissantes. Un grand merci également à Visit Luxembourg pour cette belle organisation. C’était une très belle initiative, et je les encourage vivement à continuer dans cette voie.     Vandaag 12 juli2026 de route heen en terug gelopen. Het is een heel mooie route. De route wijkt 2x van de Eislek trail af (wat extra hoogtemeters), wat verder geen probleem is. Echter deze stukken waren heel slecht te lopen. Dit was bij 7 en 10/11 kilometer. Er was eigenlijk geen pad te vinden. Voornamelijk brandnetels, distels en doornen struiken. De .gpx is ook al van 2018. Uiteindelijk omgedraaid en de Eislek trail gevolgt. Op deze stukken viel ook regelmatig de GPS weg. Maar nog steeds een aanrader.

    ich bin ihn entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn gelaufen, da ich die steilen Anstieg am Anfang des Tages haben wollte (tagsüber wurde es über 30°C heiß). Insgesamt fand ich die Tour ganz ok, man hat immer ein riesen Windrad als Orientierungspunkt ;) Gut gefallen hat mir der "Höhenweg" auf der westlichen Seite der Sûre (der allerdings auch kaum Schatten bietet)
