    Schöne, einfache Wanderung um den See. Die Zeitvorgabe ist grosszügig. (Knapp 3 Stunden) Der Weg ist zum Grösstenteils asphaltiert. Der grösste Teil liegt an der Sonne, deshalb eher im Frühling oder Herbst zu empfehlen. Die offizielle Route weicht von der hier beschriebenen im Ersten Teil ab. Der richtige Weg führt am See entlang über einen Steg auf dem Wasser, deshalb der Beschilderung folgen.

    Es ist eigentlich keine Mountainbike Tour, man fährt meistens (ca 80 Prozent) Teerstrassen. Nur am Lago die Varese etwas Schotterstraße. Ansonsten recht schöne Tour. Die Fahrt von Monvale nach Sesto Calende ist aber sehr langweilig, ich empfehle Abstecher nach Ispra, Ranco, Angera zu machen. Auch die Promenade bei Seste Calende ist sehr schön.

    Auch ohne „E“ eine sehr schöne Radtour. Bei Seste Calende empfehle ich noch, die schöne Seepromenade entlang zu gehen und ein Eis zu essen, die würde man sonst verpassen. Bei Ranco und Angera gibt es schöne öffentliche Strände und Parkanlagen. Die Straße von Angera nach Seste Calende ist recht viel befahren und etwas dröge, aber man übersteht das schnell. Bei Travedona Monate gibt es auch öffentliche Parks, aber das war mir zu überfüllt (Sonntag) Insgesamt hatte ich über 250 hm auf der Uhr.
