    San Romedio ist bald erreicht. Man wird still auf diesem Weg. Der Romedius-Pilgerweg führt nicht nur nach San Romedio, sondern auch ein Stück weit zu sich selbst. Man muss dafür nichts tun. Nur gehen.

    Der Blick in die Koflertalschlucht ist beeindruckend und der Lago Smeraldo sehr idyllisch. In Fondo lädt eine Bar zu einer Pause ein. Das italienische Flair ist unübersehbar. Übernachtet haben wir in Cavareno.

    Schöne aussichtsvolle Touren. Die Kilometeranzahlen stimmen aber nicht unbedingt. Teilweise ~5km mehr einplanen. Nicht alles begehbar gewesen, wegen Wetter oder Baumaßnahmen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

    Den Romedius-Pilgerweg bin ich inzwischen dreimal gegangen: 2017 und 2018 jeweils allein und nun im September 2026 ein weiteres Mal mit zwei Freundinnen. Der Weg ist für mich eine gut machbare, aber durchaus anspruchsvolle Tour. Gute Kondition, Trittsicherheit und alpine Erfahrung sollte man mitbringen. Besonders gefällt mir die Streckenführung. Viele Abschnitte verlaufen auf alten Wegen. Auf solchen Pfaden zu gehen, gibt dem Weg für mich einen besonderen Charakter. Auch die Querungen von Innsbruck und Meran sind durchdacht und fügen sich stimmig ein. Der Weg ist gut markiert, GPS kaum gebraucht. Die Übernachtungen habe ich bei allen Touren im Voraus gebucht. Der Romedius-Pilgerweg verbindet für mich auf besondere Weise Natur, alpine Landschaft, Geschichte und das eigentliche Pilgern. Vielen Dank an die zwei Wegbereiter für diesen schönen Weg und für all die Arbeit, die dahintersteckt. Weitere Infos bei den einzelnen Etappen.

    Kurzwanderung zur schönen und absolut sehenswerten Wallfahrtskirche, die kostenlos besichtigt werden kann. Die Wegstrecke durch die tiefe Schlucht ist eindrucksvoll, Schwindelfreiheit ist aber durchaus von Vorteil, wenn auch nicht zwingend erforderlich, da der Pfad, der in den Fels geschlagen wurde, über 1 km direkt an einer Steilwand entlangführt. Mit Besichtigung der Wallfahrtskirche sollte man ca. 1-2 Stunden einplanen. Bei mir wurden ca. 7,1 km und 231 hm getrackt. Für den Hinweg benötigt man ca. 1 Stunde, für die Besichtigung ca. eine halbe Stunde und für den Rückweg eine halbe Stunde bis Stunde. Tatsächlich würde ich die Tour aber nur nochmal laufen, wenn ich ohnehin in der Nähe wäre, gezielt und länger anfahren, wäre es mir nicht wert.

    Passeggiata suggestiva. I frati dell'eremo erano disponibili a dare risposte alle domande sul luogo ai vari viandanti. Inoltre suggerisco visitare il museo retico alla fine. Piccola chicca: avevo parcheggiato in paese: a fianco del tabacchino era aperto (di solito i sabati pomeriggio) un piccolo museo dei contadini. La persona che lo cura, disponibilissima, permette anche di visitare un appartamento ancora arredato inizi del '900.

    Sehr schöne, abwechslungsreiche aber auch anspruchsvolle Alpenüberquerung. Wir (Ehepaar) sind vom 18.7. bis 31.7. unterwegs gewesen (9. Etappe durch einen Ruhetag in Meran unterbrochen). Das Wett war sehr wechselhaft. Ein Ruhetag im Ridnauntal (um evtl das Bergbaumuseum anzuschauen) ist überlegenswert. Details in den einzelnen Etappen.
