From the famous Lago della Ninfa along the Sentiero dell’Atmosfera, marmots and breathtaking landscapes will accompany you on this majestic trekking.

On wonderful trails, mostly very flowing (S1), but sometimes more technical (S2), the route goes from Massa to Poretta Therme through the Apennines.

Departure from the Ninfa lake, Cimone and return from Cimoncino

This route is manageable if you're not a beginner. The elevation gain is noticeable because it's concentrated over a relatively short distance.

Slightly challenging circular hike, especially in the first part of the descent from Monte Cimone for the return. First part in beech forest.
