Wanderung auf und ab durch die Weinberge mit tollen Ausblicken. Bei warmem Wetter muss man den Schatten eher suchen. Aber im Grossen und Ganzen eine tolle Strecke, um die Umgebung zu Fuss kennen zu lernen. In Serralunga d‘Alba kann man (ausser mittwochs) auch gut einkehren und das Picknick zu Hause lassen.

Beautiful route. Unique view of Barolo castle & wine museum, not possible from the village or the road. Rewarding run also due to its many vineyard hills and long tranquil stretches. Recommend a bottle of water for replenishment.

Die Tour spiegelt das wieder, was das Gebiet für Rennrad'ler ist, nämlich: bombe! Die Region ist durchzogen mit einem dichten Netz an kleinen Sträßchen, die oft durch wunderschöne Weinberge führen. Wer Lust auf Höhenmeter hat, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Zwar fehlen die wirklich langen Anstiege, aber in der Hügellandschaft findet sich ein 200-500 Hm Anstieg nach dem anderen in traumhafter Landschaft.

Eine schöne Umgebung, insb. für Weinliebhaber. Auch zahlreiche Obstbäume auf dem Weg, von denen man etwas probieren kann. Man muss aber öfters auf die Karte schauen, um den Weg zu finden. Abkürzen möglich, was bei uns wegen eines sehr plötzlich aufziehenden Gewitters auch nötig war.
