Very nice walk with stunning 360degrees view from the top (and you don’t even need to reach the two mountain tops for that as you’ll have it all along the stretch between the two). Not too difficult either. Nice descent under the shade of the pine trees.

A wonderful walk with excellent views the whole time, especially from the summit, where you get fantastic views of the Matterhorn. The middle part follows the old railway line; this is completely flat and gives you a chance to enjoy the views without having to look where you are going.

A fantastic walk with views all the way. It gets better the higher you go. The section from the path-junction to the hut is rope-assisted, but shouldn't pose any problem to sure-footed people. I wouldn't do it in bad weather, though. But this walk is very nice even if you don't go to the hut. Saying that, do go to the hut if you can. On our visit there was a large herd of friendly deer just above the hut. They didn't run away when we approached, so e got some of the best deer pictures ever. And the views are amazing!!

Tolle Tour, die wir jedoch etwas gemütlicher angegangen sind (7h inkl Pause). Wir haben die Gletscherüberquerung ohne Bergführer gemacht, was dank Lift und Spuren der Pistenraupen gut ging. Den Übergang auf den Gletscher fanden wir schlecht beschildert. Hier macht es vermutlich Sinn, stattdessen von der Bergstation Trockener Steg auf den Gletscher zu gehen. Wer den Gletscher lieber mit Bergführer queren möchte, kann auf der Theodulhütte anfragen. Die können einen italienischen Bergführer zum Trockenen Steg schicken (kostet nur 250€ statt 600 CHF).
