    Die Tour ansich ist schön. allerdings gibt es bergab ein paar sehr steile Tricky stellen auf einen Waldtrail, vor allem ist dort durch Starkregen einiges weggeschwaschen worden. Einkehrmöglichkeiten gibt es theoretisch, allerdings scheinen Anfang September die meisten Restaurants und Weingüter auf dem Weg geschlossen zu sein. Fur geübte MTB Fahrer sicherlich ein Genuss, für Anfänger eher schwierig. man könnte den Waldtrail evtl über die Passstraße umgehen.

    Die Gegend und der Pinienwald insbesondere mit Strand sind wirklich ein Highlight! Und wer kann, sollte unbedingt eine Tour von Casale Marittimo über Bibbona nach Bolgheri und dann die weltberühmte Pinienallee ein Stück hinunter und dann am Abzweig / Schild links Richtung „Roma“ an herrlichen Weingütern vorbei bis Castagnetto Carducci hinauf (Kultur- u. Künstlerdorf)! Danach hinunter bis an den Strand von Marina di Castagnetto Carducci und dort baden und bei La Zattera oder Il Poeta herrlich essen (hellgelber Sandstrand).

    Bel percorso , molto sterrato ma in tre punti la traccia non è più percorribile. A La California nn c’è più il sentito che attraversa la ferrovia. A mulino di Bibbona sentito chiuso da un cancello . Prima di Bolgheri sentiero chiuso da una proprietà privata.
