    Percorso abbastanza impegnativo in salita per chi va occasionalmente. Ci sono molti bivi che non sono segnalati che mettono in confusione. Meglio tenere acceso il gps per seguire il tragitto per chi non conosce la zona. Possibilità di pranzare al Grillo in cima, il cibo è molto buono e a buon prezzo. Nel complesso il tragitto è bello, da rifare. Parcheggio comodo all'inizio della traccia.

    Percorso interessante, anche se si dovrebbe evitare di percorrerlo dopo piogge intense o comunque in una giornata che minaccia pioggia in quanto la seconda parte dell'anello è costituito da sentieri stretti e, in presenza di forte umidita, particolarmente scivolosi. Da evitare per escursionisti senza esperienza.

    Sentiero che parte dalla città, attraversa per mezz'ora una zona residenziale e dal San Gottardo si addentra nell'umido sottobosco fino ai prati della cascina Margherita. L'arrivo in vetta è lungo un sentiero deformato dalle ultime alluvioni in un fossato.

    Ich bin die Tour vom 20.05. bis 10.06.2017 gegangen und musste viele Umwege gehen, da ein Großteil der Passagen oberhalb von 2500m noch nicht begehbar waren (Schneelagen und Lawinengefahr). Viele Hütten waren noch geschlossen. Mit Hund ist kein Problem, mein Willi ist auch immer dabei (2015 den E5, 2016 den E1, 2017 den L1). Ansonsten eine schöne einsame Tour, so wie wir es wollten. Entschleunigung pur.

    Jochen: No, a via ferrata set is not necessary. In fact, you wouldn't really have anywhere to use it. Karsten: I'm not sure about a dog. I remember that at least one hut had a sign saying that dogs need to stay outside. I don't know about the others. And regarding the terrain - that depends on whether your dog is more or less capable than a human. One of the worst places is Atterkarjoch, on the way down from it. It's really very very steep and narrow and a bit frightening for most people.

    Wir sind den L1 im letzten Jahr gegangen. Das Attarkarjöchl war passierbar aber wenig reizvoll. Wir trafen später eine Gruppe, welche es als bisheriges Highlight empfunden hatte.
