The municipality of Baselga di Piné consists of 10 hamlets, situated at 967 metres above sea level. The presence within its territory of Lake Serraia, the Laghestel biotope, the famous Mariano Shrine of Montagnaga, modern accommodation facilities, a prestigious conference centre and an artificial ice rink of international importance has made it one of the best-known places in Trentino, attracting a considerable number of tourists every year.
