    Die Strecke von Piancavallo aus ist noch bis Ende Oktober 2021 gesperrt. Daher einfach von Piancavallo aus Richtung Il Colle laufen und auf den Monte Morissolino abbiegen. Dabei aufpassen, sich in besagtem Farnfeld nicht zu verlaufen und oben den Rundumblick auf den Monte Rosa genießen. Dann dem gut sichtbaren Pfad Richtung Cima di Morissolo folgen. Der Abstecher zu den drei Kreuzen sowie von dort aus in die Tunnel lohnt sich sehr. Dann den ausgeschilderten Weg Richtung Il Collo nehmen und hinunter nach Piancavallo laufen.

    Die Route ist einfach zu gehen und wird mit einer herrlichen Aussicht belohnt. Unser Auto hatten wir in Piancavallo abgestellt. Dort gibt es genügend Parkplätze. Anschliessend begann der Aufstieg auf der Asphalt Strasse. Zum Glück hält sich der Verkehr auf dieser Strasse in Grenzen. Ab Il Cole ging es auf dem Waldpfad weiter. Wir waren mit einem Kinderwagen unterwegs. Dieser Abschnitt war machbar, aber ist sicher nicht zu empfehlen mit einem Kinderwagen weil es ein ziemlich schmaler und steiniger Weg ist. Die Aussicht vom Berg war einfach herrlich. Dank der guten Routenbeschreibung gingen wir auch zu den Kreuzen was viele andere Wanderer nicht taten weil der Weg nicht gut sichtbar ist.
