    Butifull but not an easy one. Need good planning specifically for the southern part. Have some interesting cities like tel Aviv and Jerusalem for rest days. For two month trek or part of it it can be a real and very good adventure.

    Vielleich darf ich für weitere User/innen ein paar Hinweise geben. Wir haben diese Tour in umgekehrter Gehrichtung ausprobiert, also vom Feld am ägyptischen Grenzgebiet nach Süden, zum Roten Meer, und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Das lässt sich dann auch gut mit dem Strandbesuch beim Korallenriff verbinden. Von Eilat kann man sich per Taxi zum Startpunkt bringen: als Hinweis für den Taxifahrer "Netafim-Border". Als zweiten Tipp: GPX Viewer zeigt die Daten metergenau an und ist eine ausgezeichnete Unterstützung, um auf den Weg zu bleiben. Zahlreiche Wegmarkierungen auf den Steinen helfen auch, auf dem richtigen Pfad zu bleiben. Bei starkem Regen am Vortag muss man sehr vorsichtig sein: Da in etwa 40% des Weges ein trockenes Flussbett sind, muss man mit voll überschwemmten Abschnitten rechnen; seitlich auszuweichen ist nicht immer möglich, oder sehr mühsam und zeitaufwendig.

    Ersteinmal ist es eine Katastrophe, dass ihr Etappenbeschreibung wortwörtlich vom Christian Seebauer geklaut habt, liebe Redaktion. Es sollte doch jedem auffallen, dass man nicht hintereinander ca. 50 km durch die Wüste läuft mit Wasser für ein oder zwei Tage dabei, wie bei Euch beschrieben und auch beim Christian Seebauer. Wer aber Sein Buch dann gelesen erfährt, dass er da mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs war. Euro GPX ist nicht korrekt, der Shvil hat einige Änderungen. Die Kilometer passen auch nicht, denn es sind deutlich mehr als 933. Die Höhenmeter auch nicht. Achtung!: Die Tour hier ist nicht getrackt, sie wurde nach gezeichnet. In der Ausgedruckten Beschreibung steht noch, dass es jeden Tag irgendwo einen Laden gibt. Viel Spaß im Negev, da habt ihr bis zu drei Tage keinen Shop und keine Wasserquelle. Eure Hostel Empfehlungen sind teilweise so was von Off-Trail schlimm. Der Trail an sich ist ein Traum, anstrengend aber der Mühe Wert. Ich habe 52 Tage für die gesammte Strecke gebraucht. Die 5 Punkte gibt es für den Trail nicht fürs Abkupfern der Redaktion.
