Vajdavár-dombvidék

I did this hike on June 7th. The weather was perfect and the forest was magnificent . Indeed, only after five hours hiking, I saw a couple of hikers, I was all alone. Most of the trail is actually track path of the forest management, in some places very disturbed by the work. The last 4 km plus is asphalt. It is also very clean, I collected only few very old plastic bottles. I recommend to take the detour to refill with fresh water. It is a great opportunity to experience the beauty of the national forests , its flowers and wildlife. You walk and in the background the singing of the euroasian chaffinch (Erdei pinti) , the song thrush (Enekes rigo), Euroasian blue tit (Kek cinege) and of course the Common cockoo (Kakukk).
