Very nice path but, as per the other review (that I missed to read beforehand) we faced a blocked fence along with a hungry horse. We climbed a fence to go out. + we never found the path at the end of to the beach and had to exit through the resort

Beautiful and interesting route, full of springtime flowers and easy to follow thanks to the red/white trail markers. Thanks for posting this route!

Walked from Stylos towards Kyani Akti and found the trail blocked by a long fence and the trail markings blacked out, no way through. Back track and join the Stylos Road. At the bridge on the road towards Kalyves the trail markings restart.

Fantastic hike with a varied terrain and astonishing views of the sea. The forest is magical and fairytale-like. The taverna Babis in Kournas is now one of my favourite places to eat - lamb chops and their “Babis” salad are very tasty. I recommend eating there after the hike

lovely walk, gave it a 4 only because the footpath from the wells outside Gavalochori has been closed. Most of the national footpath signs have been painted over in black. There is a very impenetrable fence half way down the track, so you need to initially follow the road up.
