But Wörthsee has more to offer than just water activities. The area around the lake is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and invites you to explore nature on hikes or bicycle tours. The autumn months are particularly beautiful.

For those interested in culture, there are numerous highlights such as Andechs Monastery with its famous brewery and Possenhofen Castle on the eastern shore of the lake. Music lovers also get their money's worth: the renowned "Jazzfest Wörthsee" takes place here every year.

From a culinary point of view, Wörthsee also has a lot to offer: Whether traditional Bavarian dishes in the inns around the lake or international cuisine in one of the numerous restaurants - there is something for every taste.

And what to do in bad weather? No problem! Nearby Munich beckons with its museums and cultural offerings as well as shopping opportunities. Alternatively, you can enjoy yourself in the local indoor swimming pool or spend a leisurely day in the spa.

Overall, Wörthsee is definitely worth a trip - be it for a relaxing swimming holiday in summer or active days in nature during the rest of the year. A guidebook or travel guide can help you discover the best tips and sights to make your stay even more memorable.
