Discover the region

Wimsheim is a small village at the foot of the Black Forest with a picturesque landscape of hills, fields and forests. It is in the immediate vicinity of Pforzheim (approx. 10 km away) and Stuttgart (approx. 30 km away), which makes it an ideal starting point for day trips.

The most important tourist attractions are Liebenstein Castle, the 12th century St. Vitus Church and the "Alte Kelter" local history museum. Liebenstein Castle was built in the Baroque style and today houses a hotel-restaurant with a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape.

Cultural highlights include the annual wine festival at the end of August as well as various concerts in the St.-Veit Church during the year.If you are interested in culinary specialities, you should definitely try the regional wine or make a detour to the farmers' market - here you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables directly from the producer!

Outdoor activities such as hiking or cycling are ideal in the summer months between May and September - it is particularly beautiful along the Enz or on the 5-Valley Cycle Path. In rainy weather, a visit to the indoor swimming pool "Enztalbad" is a good idea.

Where is the most beautiful place in Wimsheim? That depends on your interests! If you want to enjoy nature, we recommend a hike through the Black Forest. For those interested in culture, Liebenstein Castle and St. Vitus Church are worth a visit.

Overall, Wimsheim is definitely worth a visit - with its rich history, picturesque landscape and culinary delights, it has something to offer for everyone!

Einfach mal was anderes.
