    Diese Tour bin ich am Abend mit meiner Tochter gefahren. Wir kommen aus Aalen-Waldhausen. Beide sind wir der Meinung, dass in dieser Runde alles enthalten ist. Schöne Natur, abwechslungsreiche Untergründe, gemütliche Passagen, machbare Anstiege, erholsame Abfahrten uvm. Zu durchfahren ist auch das "Kugeltal". Ein wunderbares "Stück Natur". Wie bei anderen Touren auf dem Härtsfeld und der Region auch, bemängle ich immer noch die Ausschilderung.

    Der Hauptwanderweg 1 des schwäbischen Albvereins (auch Albsteig oder Nordrandweg genannt) ist ein traumhaft schöner Trail. Ich bin den HW 1 von Donauwörth bis Tuttlingen an einem Stück im Frühjahr 2015 gegangen. Die Aussichten auf den Traufpfaden sind grandios und atemberaubend. Aber Vorsicht - die Anstiege sind teilweise sehr steil und langatmig. Wer Unterkünfte vorgebucht hat, sollte auch sicher sein, diese jeden Tag zu erreichen, sonst droht wegen Erschöpfung der vorzeitige Tour-Abbruch. Ich war überwiegend mit dem Zelt unterwegs, habe aber auch vereinzelt in Naturfreundehäusern und Hotels übernachtet. Die Wasserversorgung ist kein Problem, da i.d.R. immer ein Dorf in der Nähe ist. Quellen und kleinere Gewässer sind ab und an vorhanden. An Sehenswürdigkeiten besteht kein Mangel. Ein wirklich traumhaft schönes Erlebnis, dieser Trail. Absolut zu empfehlen.
