Wernberg-Köblitz

The town's most famous sight is undoubtedly Wernberg Castle. The medieval fortress sits majestically on a hill above the town and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. Another highlight is Köblitz Castle with its magnificent baroque garden.

The local history museum and numerous concerts and theatre performances in the cultural centre "Das Zentrum" provide cultural highlights. Wernberg-Köblitz also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the famous Zoigl, a regional beer from the nearby Upper Palatinate Forest.
