Geographical location and special features: Weinstadt is located at the foot of the Swabian Forest and is surrounded by vineyards. The town consists of five former villages that are now known as districts: Beutelsbach, Endersbach, Großheppach, Strümpfelbach and Schnait. Due to its picturesque landscape, Weinstadt is a popular destination for hiking and cycling tours.

Touristically relevant sights: The historic half-timbered houses in the old town of Beutelsbach are worth a visit. The cultural centre "Beutelsbacher Kelter" also offers a variety of cultural events such as concerts or theatre performances. In Großheppach you can visit the castle park or go on a tour of the local wineries. Strümpfelbach attracts visitors with its Hohenbeilstein castle ruins as well as the "Himmelsgarten" natural monument, an impressive rock formation.

Cultural highlights and events: The annual town festival "Weindorf" attracts many visitors every year. It always takes place on the third weekend in September. The Jazz Open Air Festival in Beutelsbach is also a highlight for music lovers.

Culinary specialities: As part of the Württemberger Weinstraße, Weinstadt is known for its excellent wines. Be sure to try the Trollinger or Lemberger that are grown here. You should also not miss the regional dish "Maultaschen".

Outdoor activities and seasons: The best time to go hiking or cycling in Weinstadt is in spring and summer. In autumn, you can join a grape harvest or take a walk through the colourful vineyards. If it rains, a visit to the local history museum in Beutelsbach is a good idea.

Where is it most beautiful? The views of the city from the castle ruins of Hohenbeilstein as well as from the natural monument "Himmelsgarten" are particularly impressive. Another tip: Enjoy a glass of wine at sunset on one of the many vantage points in the vineyards.

Weinstadt in the Rems-Murr district is definitely worth a visit. With its historical sights, cultural highlights and culinary delights, this charming city offers something for everyone. We hope that this Travel Guide has helped you to prepare your trip to Weinstadt in the best possible way!
