Vogt

Vogt is known for its historic old town with numerous 17th century half-timbered houses. A walk through the narrow streets and across the market square will take you back to times gone by. Also visit Wolfegg Castle, a magnificent baroque castle from the 18th century, which is now used as a museum.

Cultural highlights abound here: The annual town festival in summer attracts many visitors and offers a variety of activities such as concerts, art exhibitions and culinary specialities from the region.

Vogt also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine - be sure to try regional dishes such as Kässpätzle or Maultaschen over a cosy meal in a traditional inn.

Outdoor activities are also plentiful: hiking or cycling on the well-marked trails through the idyllic landscape is particularly recommended in spring or autumn. In winter, you can enjoy skiing on the nearby slopes of the Allgäu.

If it should rain, why not visit the local museum "Alte Post" or take a trip to nearby Ravensburg to play board games or to see the famous Spieleland.

It is particularly beautiful in Vogt in spring, when the fruit trees blossom and cover the whole valley with their white flowers. Autumn also offers an enchanting backdrop with the bright colours of the foliage.
