The location of Villingendorf is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. The surrounding forests and hills are perfect for exploring during the spring or summer months. It is especially beautiful in autumn when the leaves on the trees change colour.

One of the most famous sights in Villingendorf is Weitenburg Castle, perched high on a hill. It dates back to the 12th century and offers a breathtaking view over the region.

If you are interested in culture, you should definitely visit the local history museum. Here you can learn everything about the history of the village as well as about traditional craftsmanship.

For all the gourmets among you, there are numerous restaurants with regional cuisine such as "Gasthaus zur Linde". Here you can enjoy typical dishes such as Maultaschen or Spätzle.

Even if the weather is bad, you don't have to miss out on activities: In nearby Rottweil, you will find various museums as well as a swimming pool and sauna facilities.

But Villingendorf is particularly beautiful in winter, when everything is covered in a thick blanket of snow and a romantic atmosphere prevails - especially when ice skating on the frozen lake.

Overall, Villingendorf is definitely worth a trip and a perfect destination for anyone looking for peace and quiet and to relax in nature. This travel guide will help you get the most out of your stay!
