Utarp

Geographically, Utarp is located on the edge of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park and thus offers a unique combination of coastal and natural experiences. The area is also ideal for outdoor activities such as cycling or hiking.

For cultural highlights, we recommend a visit to the Utarp local history museum, which provides insights into the history of the region. Also worth a visit are the St. Anne's Church and Gödens Castle with its magnificent baroque garden.

The numerous events that take place every year are also a special highlight. These include the traditional fishing festival in summer and the Christmas market in winter.

Culinary Utarp also has a lot to offer - be sure to try the delicious fishing from the nearby sea or enjoy regional specialities such as kale with spelt.

But what to do when it rains? There are options here too! We recommend a visit to the Ocean Wave adventure pool in Norddeich or one of the many cosy tea rooms in the area.

But where is it really nicest? That's hard to say, as each place has its own charm. But we definitely recommend a walk along the dyke at sunset - an unforgettable experience!
