Urbach is located on the edge of the Swabian Forest and is surrounded by picturesque nature with numerous hiking and cycling trails. The town itself offers a variety of historic buildings such as Adelmannsfelden Castle or St. John's Church from the 13th century.

A highlight for those interested in culture is the Alte Post Museum, which is located in an old half-timbered house and provides insights into the history of stagecoaches. A visit to the Kunstverein is also worthwhile - exhibitions of contemporary art are regularly presented here.

For gourmets, there are some culinary delights to discover in Urbach. Be sure to try the famous Maultaschenauflauf or visit one of the many wine taverns in the region.

Outdoor fans will get their money's worth here: In summer, hikes through the Swabian Forest are a great option, as are bike tours along the Rems river. In winter, skiers and snowboarders can put their skills to the test on the nearby slopes at Welzheimer Wald.

But what to do when it rains? No worries! You can go swimming in Urbach's indoor swimming pool or enjoy the latest blockbusters at the cinema.

Where is it nicest in Urbach? That's hard to say, because every place has its own unique charm. But a walk along the Rems or a hike to the Hohenacker lookout tower are definitely recommended.

Urbach in the Rems-Murr district is definitely worth a trip and offers something for everyone. We hope that this travel guide was helpful for your planning and that you will have an unforgettable stay!

Toll für Kinder, hat uns Freude gemacht. Bitte beachten. Laut Info der Stadt Urbach ist der gennante Parkplatz Hagsteige an Sa/So/Feiertagen ab Freibad geschlossen von März bis Okt. (https://www.urbach.de/freizeit--kultur/tourismus/lehrpfade/der-wald-erlebnis-pfad-in-urbach).
