    schöne Hochalbtour, am Anfang von Trochtelfingen nach Steinhilben war die größte Steigung ab da ging es wellig über Feldwege, Radwege, auch durch Wälder und kleine Ortschaften.. Ein Stern Abzug weil auch kurze Abschnitte von Landstrassen dabei sind, die aber nicht stark befahren waren.

    Landschaftlich eine traumhafte Route. Mountainbike ist von Vorteil aber nur wegen ein paar steiler Anstiege die auch noch grob geschottert sind. Die Strecke ist bis auf wenige Abschnitte sehr gut ausgeschildert. Navigationsgerät ist aber von Vorteil weil die Schilder erst nach genauem Suchen entdeckt werden. Bin aber noch keine so gut ausgeschilderte Strecke gefahren

    Sehr schöne, gut ausgeschilderte Strecke. Der Hauptteil geht über Forstwege, sodass man hauptsächlich vom Autoverkehr verschon bleibt. Wo es nicht anders möglich ist, wird man kurzzeitig auch auf Asphalt gelotst. Es gibt auch kurze Trailpassagen, aber eher nichts für Trail- und Downhillverliebte. Sportlich ist die Strecke teilweise sehr anspruchsvoll durch Steigungen >25%. Da bleibt manchmal nur noch den restlichen Anstieg schieben, wenn man nicht mit Motorunterstützung unterwegs ist. Ganz ohne GPS- Navigation würde ich die Strecke allerdings nicht fahren. Gerade am Ende in Tuttlingen scheinen einige Wegweiser verdreht worden zu sein. Insgesamt habe ich es in acht Etappen geschafft. Es gibt immer wieder Anbindungen an den ÖPNV in der Nähe der Strecke, sodass man auch ohne Auto anreisen kann.

    Das Alb-Crossing eine wunderbare Graveltour und würde sich durch viele mögliche Übernachtungsplätze auch fürs Bike-Packing optimal eignen. Ich bin die Tour von Tuttlingen bis Degenfeld in 3 Tagen gefahren. Technisch leichte Tour die ohne Federgabel und mit 43mm Reifen ohne Probleme zu bewältigen ist. Die einzige schwierige Abfahrt war am Wasserberghaus bei Schlat, die aber für jedes echte MTB auch keine Hürde darstellt. Viele knackige Anstiege im Bereich 15% erfordern allerdings eine gute Untersetzung. Die Kritikpunkte: * Durch die 2m Regel ist die Tour für MTB Trailliebhaber leider ziemlich langweilig * Wegen Streckeänderungen in den letzten Jahren passt der GPX Track leider des öfteren nicht mehr zum ausgeschilderten Weg. * Die Ausschilderung ist oftmals mangelhaft und erfordert das nachschauen im GPS * Die angegebene Zeit wurde wohl eher durch Schieben bestimmt und nicht durch Radfahren. Eine Fahrzeit ohne Pausen von 20-24h ist deutlich realistischer (16-18km/h Schnitt)
