    Wunderbarer Radweg, der Spaß macht. Voll asphaltiert und auch bei warmen Temperaturen gut zu fahren, da viel Schatten durch die Bäume. Parkplatz an Volkshaus Grimma kostenfrei und ausreichend vorhanden, dort sind die Radwege ausgeschildert. Einfach über die Brücke und gleich links auf den Radweg einbiegen. Wir sind begeistert.

    Begonnen wurde die Radtour in Sermuth. Den PKW haben wir auf dem PP des SV Eintracht abgestellt. Gefolgt sind wir der Ausschilderung Mulderadweg. Er führte uns über asphaltierte Nebenstraßen nach Kössern, dem Dorf der Baumeister. Kurzer Halt im Hofladen und Café des Rittergutes Kössern. Vorbei am Jagdhaus Kössern, das zu angegebenen Zeiten zu besichtigen ist, ging es auf der Dorfstraße weiter Richtung Grimma. Passiert wird die frisch sanierte Muldenbrücke und weiter geht es auf der Straße bis die Wegweisung vor einer Brückendurchfahrt auf einen Asphaltweg durch Kleinbothen, vorbei am Muldetalfreibad weiter nach Grimma führt. Hier geht es auf der alten Muldentalbahn immer entlang der Mulde. Links das Kloster Nimbschen, rechts das Dorf Höfgen(Überfahrt mit Fähre möglich). In Grimma folgt man dem gut ausgeschilderten Radweg durch die Altstadt, oder man nutzt den Fuß- und Radweg direkt an der neu geschaffenen Hochwasserschutzanlage direkt am Fluß, der an der historischen Pöppelmann-Brücke endet. Weiter über die Brücke der Ausschilderung Richtung Wurzen folgen(ca. 20km). Der Weg führt jetzt über den Bahnkörper der alten Muldentalbahn und ist asphaltiert. Vorbei geht es am alten Bahnhof Nerchau. Es eröffnen sich schöne Blicke auf die Auenlandschaft. In Wurzen hat man das Zwischenziel erreicht.

    Sehr schöne Radtour durch viel ursprüngliche Natur und hübsche Städtchen. Die Radwege sind überwiegend sehr gut ausgebaut und beschildert. Eine Karte oder ein GPS-Gerät sind jedoch hilfreich, denn manchmal fehlt ein Hinweisschild an einer Kreuzung oder Gabelung. Wir sind ab Halle mit dem Zug nach Großbothen gefahren (Tipp Sachsen-Anhalt-BahnTicket!). Dann sind wir zur Muldenvereinigung bei Sermuth und weiter entlang der Mulde bis Dessau geradelt. Die Tour haben wir entlang der Elbe bis Barby (Abstecher zum Ringheiligtum Pömmelte empfehlenswert!) und weiter bis Halle entlang der Saale fortgesetzt, das ganze in 6 Etappen mit Übernachtungen ein Wurzen, Bad Düben, Muldenstein, Walternienburg und Bernburg.
