Discover the region

Geographically, Thörnich is located on the banks of the Moselle and thus offers a breathtaking view of the river and the surrounding vineyards. The area is famous for its wines and you should definitely try some local varieties.

Touristically relevant are especially the historic buildings in the village. For example, visit Thorn Castle or the St. Anna Chapel from the 18th century.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered here: Concerts are held regularly in summer and the annual wine festival in September attracts many visitors.

If you like hiking or cycling, you will be pleased to hear that Thörnich is an ideal starting point for outdoor activities. Follow the hiking trails through the vineyards or cycle along the Moselle riverside path - these activities are particularly beautiful in spring and autumn.

And if the weather doesn't cooperate for once? Then why not visit one of the many museums in Trier-Saarburg or take a trip to nearby Luxembourg.

Wherever your interests lie - whether culture, nature or culinary delights - Thörnich has something to offer. Come and experience this idyllic spot for yourself!

Wochenend-Etappen in drei Jahren.
