Thandorf

Thandorf is picturesquely situated on the edge of the Lauenburg Lake District Nature Park and is surrounded by stunning scenery. The town itself offers a variety of historic buildings, including Thandorf Castle from the 18th century and St. Peter's Church from the 13th century.

An absolute highlight for tourists are also the numerous lakes around Thandorf, such as Lake Ratzeburg or Lake Schaalsee. Here you can do water sports, swim or simply relax and enjoy nature.

For culture enthusiasts, a visit to the Höltigbaum museum village with its restored half-timbered houses or the Zarrentin monastery with its impressive architecture is worthwhile.
