Geographical location and special features: Straelen is located on the Lower Rhine, close to the Dutch border. The town is known for its fruit and vegetable growing areas as well as the flower trade. Kleve, on the other hand, is home to Moyland Castle with its impressive art collection.

Tourist attractions: In Straelen, you should definitely take a walk through the zoo or visit the historic old town. The rose garden is also worth a visit. In Kleve you can visit the Kurhaus Museum or enjoy the view over the city from the Schwanenburg Tower.

Cultural highlights and events: Both cities have a wide range of cultural events to offer: From concerts to theatre performances, there is everything your heart desires here. Another highlight is the annual jazz festival in Kleve or the Christmas market in Straelen.

Culinary specialities: You should definitely try the regional specialities such as apple pie made from fresh crumble dough or kale with mettwurst - simply delicious!

Outdoor activities: In summer, you can take a bike tour along the Rhine or a trip to the river landscape "De Maasduinen". In winter, on the other hand, you can go ice skating on the numerous ice rinks in the region.

Where is it most beautiful? Straelen and Kleve both have their very own charm. Especially in spring, when the flowers are in bloom and nature awakens, these two towns are a real dream. But also in autumn you can spend an unforgettable time here walking through the colourful foliage.

What to do in bad weather? Even when it rains, there are plenty of options: How about a visit to a museum or a cosy stop in one of the many cafés?

We hope that our travel tips for Straelen and Kleve will help you. Have fun exploring!

Habe mich genau an deinen Track gehalten.
